Well all you lucky people that are ready can.......!
I am still at work trying to get ahead of my work so that when I come back in January it won't be a total nightmare! I finish on Friday until 2nd January (unless I win the lottery) and I can't wait!!!
This is the last challenge before Christmas over at Penny's and this week we would like to see your favourite technique!.
For my card I got to use a fantastic image from Stamp Art Design called Santa Mouse it is one of Kathrynes new images and is a must for your collection!
I used a few of my favourite techniques on this one, My all time favourite is colouring, I love colouring it definitely brings the kid out in me! I have also used some heat embossing for the sentiment, some die cuts for the flowers and holly - well even the background. I used some dry embossed gold card for the first matt too.
To that I added a lush bow with a beautiful brad of a Christmas tree!, I know I'm biased but I love this card!
I used some Flowersoft with glitter for the fur on his outfit - he is just so sweet I could eat him, lol!
Please call over to Stamp Art Design and check out the gorgeous images! What's even better is you stand the chance of winning some of these beauties by entering our challenge, woohoo! how good is that!!

8 days to go..............
OMGosh, I can't believe the big day is only next week, yikes I'm so not ready!!!
Well I did get the chance to make another lovely holiday card for today's challenge over at the Outlawz.
This week's Color Challenge picture was chosen by Ursula and it is my turn to post so let's hope I don't do anything silly!
Doesn't that look gorgeous! I would love a wreath like that and I just love these colours!
So for my card I have used another of Gerda Steiners cute, cute images
Now isn't that the cutest kitty ever! I have used a green pearlised card as my base and matted the image with red and glittered white. I cut my gingham using this lovely flourish frame. I coloured the image with Promarkers and used a Snow writer for the snow flakes, the greeting is a good old fashioned peel off!
I do so hope you will join us this week for this fun challenge and to get your chance of winning these gorgeous, cute, cute images!!

A Christmas Angel!
Yes it's Wednesday and this week's challenge over at Penny's is to make a feminine card!
I was lucky enough to be able to use one of Krista's lovely digis for my card - don't you just love Saturated Canary?
I coloured her with my usual Promarker/Flexmarkers. The background paper is from a magazine download and it's matted onto some pearl blue, The image is cut with a Spellbinders label die and matted onto th
e pearly blue. I used a Marianne poinsettia die that I cut in pink glitter card along with the tag. I cut some pretty snowflakes and the lovely bunting and glittered everthing within an inch of its life, lol! I used some turquoise velvet ribbon through the centre and some gorgeous snowflake brads that I got with the wonderful candy I won at Jacques Sunday Sweet stuff blog, I finished off with a couple of pearls and gems. Her wings don't show too well but they are layered up with pink glitter and white flower soft and they look quite feathery IRL.
I hope you will join us this week at Penny's Paper Crafty for this lovely challenge.

Christmas is Coming, Christmas is Coming......
and its coming like a steam train now! I hope you're all ready for the big day and not too exhausted to care!
I have done very little shopping yet, we got the tree and parked it in the greenhouse until I'm ready! Well this week we have another exciting challenge over at the Outlawz.
On the Color Challenge we are trying some new variations of the colour theme and this week I got to pick the inspirational picture
This was a very lovely pub we stayed at in the Cotswolds this summer - it certainly inspired me and if you look closely there are lots of colours in this picture! So this week we would like you to use the lovely yellow and two more colours from the picture then add your own twist!
When you post your creation don't forget to tell us which colours you've used and what your twist is - can't wait to see what you come up with!
This month we have the lovely Gerda Steiner sponsoring us and I have used one of Gerda's gorgeous digis - so cute!
For my colours I used the grey from the foreground, red (in top window boxes) and the yellow, for my twist I have added glitter (its mandatory at Christmas, lol!) for the snow. Now isn't he just the most adorable little nellie! I added some flowersoft to the hat for the fur brim, the letters were cut using my Cricut, the image is coloured with Promarkers/Flexmarkers and the lovely glossy grey spotted card I got on the market years ago - I had a block of about 50 sheets and they cost me the princely sum of £1.50!
I would love to see you join us on the Color Challenge this week and don't forget that one lucky person will win the four images that we were sent to play with - as well as getting to be our Guest Designer, woohoo!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you come back soon!

A Vintage Beauty.....
Tomorrow is my friends birthday and she will be 70 - she'd kill me if she knew I'd told you that! She honestly looks no older than 50 and is as fit as a fiddle and today she has gone home to Ireland to spend her birthday and Christmas with her family so I am safe to blog this card, lol!!
I used one of the line drawings from Scribble and Scrap - I think they are so lovely. I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and used some vintagey background paper I got from Jak Heath quite some time ago.
I added some lace, flowers, pearls and bling. The lovely bunting die cut is from Joanna Sheen and I love it, I cut it twice once in glitter card then one in pearlised paper, it gives a lovely effect. I used some flourish die cuts in glitter card and the sentiment came free with a mag last week!
Isn't she lovely!
I would like to enter this into the Scribble and Scrap challenge and Through the Craftroom Door
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again soon!

Cute Christmas!
Our sponsor this month at the Outlawz is Gerda Steiner and boy does she do kewt!
I love, love her digis they are just so adorable and you can have real fun colouring them up and making something with them because you know it will be adorable!
Our colours were chosen by Roxann this week and are such typical Christmas colours
Isn't that a fabulous Christmas image and the twist is just right too!
Gerda gave the design team 4 lovely images to play with and at the end of the month we will be giving our lucky winner those images as well!
For my card I have used the fox image,
Cute eh?
I coloured him in grey like a proper winter fox and added some glitter for the snow (you have to have glitter don't you), I used a holly frame that I cut from some holly green card and I used some silver holly embossed card for the centre of the frame. I used my usually Centura Pearl white card for my base and added a tag I cut from the green card and doesn't he look soooo cute!
If you want a chance to win these sweeties come on over to the Color Challenge at the Outlawz and join us - one lucky person will get all four of the digis to play with!

The Paper Shelter
So it's the new challenge at Penny's and this week we have The Paper Shelter as one of our sponsors. They make wonderful image sets which include a line art drawing and a coloured version.
This cute New Years card is made using the coloured version of this image and isn't it too cute!
So no colouring for me on this one. I cut out the image with a die cut and cut the mat from some copper card. The background paper is a Mulberry Wood paper from Crafters Companion that I matted onto some dark green card. The mesh is from a batch I bought from Lakeland when they did craft stuff, the stars are from one of the pound shops (cute eh?) and I finished with a dark green chiffon bow.
I hope you will come over to Penny's and join in the challenge this week as it's everyones favourite "Anything Goes"!!
I'll see you there!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll stop by again soon!

A Little Birdie.....
We still have the wonderful QKR Stampede as our sponsor on the Color Challenge at the Outlawz!
This week's inspirational picture was chosen by Lindsay and isn't it gorgeous! Great twist eh!
So for my card I have used this cute birdie from QKR Stampede
I used a cream base card and die cut some gold for behind the birdie, I coloured the birdie with Promarkers, I heat embossed the gold bobble on his hat and added some snow to the ground! My hessian (burlap) is some adhesive gold hessian that I bought in Lakeland years ago! The sentiment is cut using my Cricut from some brown card. A slightly different colour schem for a Christmas card but I think it works well!
I hope you will call over and visit our challenge this week, it would be great to see you and lovely if you joined in!

Black and White......
well it was supposed to be but a bit of red crept into mine and it wouldn't go away!
Yes it's the Pink teams challenge at Eclectic Ellapu this week and the them is ......Black & White!
For my card I used an image from Scrappers Delight that I love
I used some papers from Paperbox for the background that I cut up into diamonds and them pieced together, it is quite effective but it doesn't show very well. The red corners are cut with A Memory Box die, one of my favourites and the border is some black ribbon with a white stitched edge.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and used a little FLowersoft for the pom poms.
Well that's my black and white (and red) card which I hope you like - come over to Eclectic Ellapu and join us in this brilliant challenge - show us your creativity!
I hope to see you there - thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

I coloured him with Promarkers and added some Flowersoft and glitter to his fur trims I also gave him some nice shiny boots! I used some background papers from my stash and cut out the Ho, ho, ho using my Cricut.
This is the Snow Lady isn't she adorable! Again I coloured her with Promarkers then added some gloss to the lights. The background paper is from Crafters Companion and came free with a magazine. I layered with some purple glitter card and cut out the Joy banner from glitter card using the Cricut.
Check out the beautiful images at Fred She Said - you'll be spoilt for choice.
I can't wait to see what our members come up with using these lovelies!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Such a Cute Kitty!
For my card this week at Penny's I got to use the cutest image from Inky Impressions who are one of our sponsors this week, Our theme is Buttons and Bows - great theme eh!
Now is that not the cutest kitty you've ever seen! I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers then added some 3D gloss to her eyes and bow. The sentiment is from Inky Impressions too and I coloured that to match her bow and gave that the 3D gloss treatment too! I cut the image out with an oval cutter and inked the edge of the oval. The paper is from a 6 inch stack that I can't remember the name of, (it's an age thing!). The bows are bought by the metre and I cut off enough to edge the card and coloured every other one with the same pink as the kitty's bow, I added some star shaped buttons coloured to match.
I hope you'll call over to Penny's this week and join in this cute challenge - see you there then!

Feeling Vintage!
I am feeing vintage at the moment, I think I must be coming down with something - I feel old and weary! Never mind, lol - I'll show you my card for the Color Challenge at the Outlawz. This weeks colours and twist were chosen by Lindsay and aren't they fabulous - apparently this is a plant that grows in one very small area of Australia so not only do you get crafty stuff you get clever stuff as well!
We are being sponsored by Anji's Antics this month and most of us have used the same image for this challenge - it is one of Anji's ladies and she is stunning!
I used some papers from my stash, I added some pink glitter flourishes, some lace and some pearl trim and finished her off with a nice oval brown gem. Coloured with Promarkers as usual!
I hope you will call over to the Outlawz to see what the other DT have done with this lovely image and while you're there why not join us!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Autumn Leaves!
Well the leaves are starting to change colour here so autumn is definitely here! I saw the most amazing maple leaf that had fallen when we were out at a shopping outlet village and I really wanted topick it up and bring it home but DH pulled a face when I said - so I walked on by!
Today I have made a card using the SSD image Scarecrow, I won this image on the new release teasers from SSD when it was being released but you can get it by going to the Papercraft Planet Sassy Design Studio Progressive challenge - as long as you make a card for the challenge you can get the image for free and I adore their images so I'm completely hooked!

I got out my peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and stamped the border using a selection onf autumn colours and the odd pop of copper. The base paper is some gorgeous mulberry paper that has lots of texture, the straw bow is made from some raffia with a pretty leaf gem, I used a wood flourish that I added a gem to and punched some leaves that I inked with the colours in the stamped side.
I coloured her using Promarkers and Flexmarkers - isn't she gorgeous!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
