Now if you're in the Northern Hemisphere these are the perfect colours for now! he lovely Mandarin Duck picture was chosen by Penny - he's gorgeous too! Penny would like you to distress your project this week.

So this is what I came up with

it doesn't look very distressed but I sanded that black card to within an inch of it's life! I used an image from the Adorable Fairies by Nice Crane who is our sponsor this week!

We will have some new exciting challenges for you starting in November so keep on calling by to see what we've got up our sleeves! I hope you'll come on over to the Outlawz and play with us this week!!

I coloured the wordart in Photoshop then mounted it onto some satin gold card, the ivy die is from Joanna Sheen (I used a bit of cropping on this one) and the bauble is a Marianne die that was free on this month's Cardmaking & Papercraft!

Why not join in this fun challenge and get some Christmas cards made while you're having fun!

Rainy Day Sunday..............

Yes we have rain and wind, definitely a day to stay indoors and craft!

I have had this cutie on my desk for a couple of weeks but no time to work with it. Today I decided to set aside the morning to do all the projects that I had waving to me on the desk!

This sweet little lady is from Gerda Steiner. Gerda has a monthly challenge where she gives you an image and as long as you make it up and post it you get the next month's image!

Well this is the image I got this month and it is too cute!

I made it up as a shaped card and coloured her with Copics/Promarkers. The rain drops and puddle have been finished with a Wink of Stella but its not showing up too well.

If you want cute and adorable then go over to Gerda Steiner Designs!

Cute Christmas!

The challenge starting at Penny's Paper Crafty today is everyone's favourite - 'Anything Goes'!!

We have a fabulous sponsor this week - Lacy Sunshine! I got to play with one of her lovely images and this is what I came up with

I had fun playing with this one, I coloured it with Copics and Promarkers and added a a few touches of Wink of Stella (I love that stuff!). The greeting is from a sheet from Crafters Companion that I cut out and used the silver ribbon to set it on, with a couple of gems. I used some some pretty snowy paper again from Crafters Companion and then cut lots of snowflake and glittered them to death! Don't the make a lovely frame?

I hope we see you over at Penny's for this latest challenge and you can win some gorgeous digis from Lacy Sunshine - see you there!

Tuesday...............

That means Colour challenge at the Outlawz - brighten your life and join us with this bright and happy challenge.

Ursula chose the inspirational picture and isn't it gorgeous! She also chose the first colour from the picture and we would like you to choose two more from the picture and add a twist, how fun is that!

I would love to sit in that chair and watch the world go by!

We have a great sponsor this month - Nice Crane who specialise in collage sheets and digis from Victorian art and Children's books. I use one of their lovely images from the Little Workers collage sheet.

I used beige and orange from the picture plus the lavender and my twist was to use die cuts.

We'd love to see you for this new challenge - so what are you waiting for!

Monday 13 October 2014

Pink and Sparkly!

Yes that's the theme for the new challenge at Digi Sketch this week! We also have this fab sketch for you

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

I got to play with one of Beccy's free images, she has quite a lot on her site as well as some beauties in her store.

I love carousel horses and loved colouring this one! The mane and tail are really glittery as well as the edging on the saddle, shame it doesn't show up too well!

I think it's quite pink and sparkly!

So come on over to Digi Sketch Challenge and join us for this wonderful challenge - hope to see you there!

Felling Vintage!

It's a new month at the Colour Challenge over at the Outlawz and that means we have a wonderful new sponsor - Nice Crane

I chose this weeks inspirational picture and we got some wonderful digis and collage sheets from Nice Crane to play with

So this is what I came up with for the vintage theme

The image I used was from the French Postcard Mixed Media collection and is such a beautiful image! The paper is from Michele Roo and is such a perfect match for this image!

I hope you will come over and join us at this week's Colour Challenge and watch out for some new exciting challenge coming soon!

Look forward to seeing you there!

Sunday 5 October 2014

In The Pink!

New challenge is on at Dragonfly Dreams and this month's theme is Main Colour Pink!

Now that's really not hard, we all do pink and me in particular do loads of it!

Our sponsor this month is Scribbles by Sandy and we had some cute designs to play with - this was one of them

I maybe went a bit overboard with the pink but just couldn't stop myself, lol! I coloured the hedgie with Promarkers and used that flicking technique for the hedgies coat - worked out well I think! I used some pink paper from my stash, made a ribbon plait for the bottom and topped with the white flowers, used some pink flower trim for the top and some glittery pink butterflies, the sentiment is a die cut - I got them when I bought my new Grand Calibur - I wore the last one out, lol!

I hope you will join us in this new challenge and show us your pink projects!

Wednesday 1 October 2014

Crafty Ladies!

The challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty is to use at least three patterned papers, how easy is that! We have some great sponsors this week - Dr Digi and Sparkle and Sprinkle!

I got to play with a real fun image from Sparkle and Sprinkle

I thought they were such fun! Coloured with Copics and Promarkers with lots of different patterned papers! I used cork paper as my base matted onto brown and then used lots of different papers for the flowers and the bands!

I hope you will come on over to Penny's this week and join in the fun!

Flowers, Embellishments, Images!

Show us what you've got! That is our challenge for the Pink team over at Eclectic Ellapu!

Our beloved leader Elaine set the challenge so you can interpret it any which way - just enter, lol!

So for my card I was playing with some new dies I got (and some old ones too)

I cut the tree from some gold card and some black, the tree has its own little ornament die so I had to cut out a few red baubles! The poinsettia on top is a die I have had for ages and it comes out every Christmas, I love it! I used Kraft Card as my base as I just got a delivery from Crafters Companion and I do love Kraft!

I hope you will come over to Eclectic Ellapu and join us for this fun challenge - see you there!
