The new challenge has started at Eclectic Ellapu and the challenge from the Pink Team was chosen by our lovely Asha and she would like to meet your furry friends, I know Asha loves pets and has a couple of gorgeous four legged friends!
For my card I used a cute vintage image that I've had for ages, I don't remember where I got it from!
I used some gorgeous paper from Michelle Roos, I do love her papers. The base card is mushroom pearl and the background is matted onto green and kraft. The image is matted onto kraft and rust, the tag is cut from kraft and heat embossed. The image was printed onto white card and I've inked it with about four shades of brown!
Well these are my furry friends now come on over and let us meet yours!

A Little Embossing
The new challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty would like to see your projects that have embossing on them, either dry or heat, that's so easy as we all use embossing!
I got to use this lovely image from Stamp Art by Kathryne, Owl-Ways Yours.
I coloured the image with a variety of alcohol markers then cut it out with a flower shaped die. I edged the die with some pink glitter. My base card is cream pearl and I used a band of the base card to emboss and added through the middle, the cute flowers are cut from a die that came free on a craft mag, I gave them a little glitter at the centre too!
This is such a cute image and can be used for lots of occasions do check it out and the bonus is it's only $1!
Hope to see you at Penny's!

Make a Scene!
Well when this came up as a twist I thought - I can do that, lol! I, obviously, wasn't thinking of the same "Scene" that Ina was when she set the challenge!!!
Well we have a three from five week this week and all those colours work so well with each other. FOr my card I have used another great image from Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet, Hope Jacare Doodles Home is Where the Heart Is.
I fell in love with this image, having lived through the Sixties (I was at Art School for part of them!) and being still here to tell the tale, this really reminded me of that period! I did supplement my allowance and produce doodles for a greetings card company at that time, I started of getting a whole pound for an image that took me an age to draw! I then took commissions for a fiver, big earner that I was! So as you can tell this image brought back a lot of memories!
Coloured with a variety of alcohol markers, the image is layered onto some stone grey card and the background is a soft turquoise mounted onto rose pink card, with a few finishing touches in all three colours.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will come over and join us at the Colour Challenge at the Outlawz this week for this fun challenge.

Child's Play!
Yep, we are having a child's card theme this week at the Outlawz Colour Challenge!
Ursula chose our great inspirational picture and the theme - how cute is that!
Wouldn't we all like to be that age again playing in the summer!
We have Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet as our sponsor this month and we got to play with some lovely digis! I used Butterfly Love for this card
Isn't she just too sweet! I coloured her with Promarkers and used the out of the box technique to cut her out with the large flower die. I added a banner cut from a Signature die and the butterflies are also Signature dies. The little hearts are the cut outs from the banner, waste not want not! I used a base card of pearlised red then added the glittered butterflies and banner, the fairy also has glittered wings, shame it doesn't show up well in photo's. I found some really old number dies that I cut the number from.
I do hope you will come over and join us this week! Don't forget you have a chance of winning some digis from our fabulous sponsor!

Fairies and Butterflies
When I was a little girl, many, many years ago, my Mum used to tell me that we had fairies in the garden, I spent many hours looking for the fairies. Sometimes a would see a pretty butterfly and my Mum would say it was a fairy in disguise! She said that the beautiful butterflies were the only way that fairies could be seen in public. So butterflies and fairies are really the same thing if you believe in magic! I think the first thing I ever painted as a youngster was a beautiful peacock butterfly - I won a prize for it too!
So The latest challenge at Aurora Wings is to use butterflies, well I just happened to have the lovely Wisteria Fairy on my desk waiting patiently to be coloured and I had some rare quality time today so here she is with her cousins
I used some lovely papers from Michelle Roo, some butterflies cut from a Joanna Sheen die and a few gems to give her some extra sparkle! She has been coloured with Promarkers and Copics with a liberal amount of glitter on her wings - all fairies have to sparkle don't they?
I will enter her into the Aurora Wings challenge - I think I will just get in under the wire!

Dr Digi
I'm sure that everyone knows Dr Digi's House of Stamps and their iconic British humour! They have some of the funniest images for men I have ever seen and they are sponsoring the latest challenge at Digisketch Challenge. The theme this time is to make a male card - quite handy with Fathers Day looming!
This is the sketch
and this is what I came up with
I used Duncan Disorderly I think he is so funny! Coloured with my usual mix of alcohol markers to colour the image. The background papers are from my stash and all have been matted onto turquoise card then finished with some buttons!
I hope you will come over and join us for this challenge, you don't have to use the sketch but it would be great if you did - I love to see all the different takes on the sketch!
I hope to see you there!

Dragonfly Dreams!
Yay, we have a new challenge at Dragonfly Dreams and this month our challenge was chosen by Lady Anne and she would like to see "Things with Wings!"
We have a fabulous sponsor this month:
I got to play with one of their lovely digis and this is what I made
I coloured the image with Promarkers and using the 'outside the box' technique I cut it out with a heart shaped die, I edged it with Flitter glue and added some Flitter Glitter to the edge. I cut a shadow heart in some lovely pinky streaked paper I found in my stash., all the papers and borders I have used are downloads and I think they come from two different sets from Crafters Companion.
The sentiments have been heat embossed with some marcasite embossing powder.
I love these cute dragon digis they're just so adorable!
I hope you will come over and join us this month in our latest challenge, I'm sure you all make lots of projects with things with wings!
