This week it was my turn to pick the colour palette and here's my picture:
I took this photo at a National Trust property and the peacocks were all around the place, this good looking fella looked as though he was putting on his display for me but I looked behind me and there was the female!
Our sponsor this month is DS4J and one of the images we were given to play with was made for this challenge!!
Now isn't he a beauty! I had some bright blue card, its got a nice satin finish to it, so thought I would use it to set the image off. I used an oval die cut for the turquoise and to cut out the peacock, a scalloped oval die cut from cream added a nice frame. I finished with some lovely cream lace.
I hope you like my version of this lovely digi but if you want to see some more interpretations call over to the Color Challenge and check out what the rest of the DT have made and if you would like this image you can find it here.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
Gorgeous card Laurian! I love how you've done the peacock's tail, its so sparkley. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of the peacock, I didn't realise it was your own personal one. I used to work at a University that had peacocks roaming around the grounds, they can be extremely noisy! :)
