Cinderella Day!

Hello everyone today see's a new challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty this weeks challenge is to use Black or Bling and this week we have two sponsors,
QKR Stampede

Sassy Studio Design

For my card I have used an image from SSD, Cinderella - you never saw Cinderella like this I bet!

I decided to hedge my bets and use both! I have used some papers from Raspberry Road matted onto black card and then onto the base card made from Centura Pearl. I edged it with some bling on a string - I love that stuff!
Cinderella has been coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and her glass shoes I added some Clear Star Gelli Roller to give them that glassy look!

Christmas Challenge!

The latest Christmas challenge is up over at Lady Annes.

This month our sponsor is Fred She Said and they have given us two wonderful images for all our members to use, this is what I made with them:

This is Little Fat Santa and I do think he is so cute! He can be used for a multitude of styles. I coloured him with Promarkers and added some Flowersoft and glitter to his fur trims I also gave him some nice shiny boots! I used some background papers from my stash and cut out the Ho, ho, ho using my Cricut.

This is the Snow Lady  isn't she adorable! Again I coloured her with Promarkers then added some gloss to the lights. The background paper is from Crafters Companion and came free with a magazine. I layered with some purple glitter card and cut out the Joy banner from glitter card using the Cricut.

Check out the beautiful images at Fred She Said - you'll be spoilt for choice.

I can't wait to see what our members come up with using these lovelies!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Such a Cute Kitty!

For my card this week at Penny's I got to use the cutest image from Inky Impressions who are one of our sponsors this week, Our theme is Buttons and Bows - great theme eh!

Now is that not the cutest kitty you've ever seen! I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers then added some 3D gloss to her eyes and bow. The sentiment is from Inky Impressions too and I coloured that to match her bow and gave that the 3D gloss treatment too! I cut the image out with an oval cutter and inked the edge of the oval. The paper is from a 6 inch stack that I can't remember the name of, (it's an age thing!). The bows are bought by the metre and I cut off enough to edge the card and coloured every other one with the same pink as the kitty's bow, I added some star shaped buttons coloured to match.

I hope you'll call over to Penny's this week and join in this cute challenge - see you there then!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Feeling Vintage!

I am feeing vintage at the moment, I think I must be coming down with something - I feel old and weary! Never mind, lol - I'll show you my card for the Color Challenge at the Outlawz. This weeks colours and twist were chosen by Lindsay and aren't they fabulous - apparently this is a plant that grows in one very small area of Australia so not only do you get crafty stuff you get clever stuff as well!

We are being sponsored by Anji's Antics this month and most of us have used the same image for this challenge - it is one of Anji's ladies and she is stunning!

I used some papers from my stash, I added some pink glitter flourishes, some lace and some pearl trim and finished her off with a nice oval brown gem. Coloured with Promarkers as usual!

I hope you will call over to the Outlawz to see what the other DT have done with this lovely image and while you're there why not join us!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Autumn Leaves!

Well the leaves are starting to change colour here so autumn is definitely here! I saw the most amazing maple leaf that had fallen when we were out at a shopping outlet village and I really wanted topick it up and bring it home but DH pulled a face when I said - so I walked on by!
Today I have made a card using the SSD image Scarecrow, I won this image on the new release teasers from SSD when it was being released but you can get it by going to the Papercraft Planet Sassy Design Studio Progressive challenge - as long as you make a card for the challenge you can get the image for free and I adore their images so I'm completely hooked!

I got out my peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and stamped the border using a selection onf autumn colours and the odd pop of copper. The base paper is some gorgeous mulberry paper that has lots of texture, the straw bow is made from some raffia with a pretty leaf gem, I used a wood flourish that I added a gem to and punched some leaves that I inked with the colours in the stamped side.

I coloured her using Promarkers and Flexmarkers - isn't she gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Boo!

The new challenge at Eclectic Ellapu was chosen by May from the Pink Team and this week what else could it be:

Halloween!
For my cards I used some Pollycraft images. Sadly Pollycraft are closing down on 23 October and they have some super bargains over there, well worth checking out. I coloured up two images with a view to using them on one card, duh! Helps if you print them small enough!!!

They are just the cutest Halloween images I've seen for ages!

I coloured them up using Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I cut the white smash background by hand then added some letters cut using the Cricut - all mounted on a black card.

Aren't they cute?

I hope we'll see all your Halloween projects this week so come on over and join in the fun!

Hope you're getting the treasure too!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

A Very Happy Birthday to a Lovely Lady!

I made this card for a very special lady for her birthday. The image is from Lexies and is absolutely gorgeous!

Isn't she lovely? I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and cut her out with a Spellbinders label die on one side. The background paper is from my stash and is some gorgeous vintage paper that I bought years ago, I added some pink pearlised paper to the right and layered the lace over it, the lace was from a shop in Cheltenham that I bought while on my travels! I used a Martha Stewart punch on the corners that I trimmed down and added pearls. The sentiment is my own.

I thought it came out well so I wanted to share it with you, hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

I used two of the cute bauble decs that I coloured with Promarkers then glossed with some 3D gloss, shame it doesn't show! I used some Christmas gem brads to attach them to the card. The background paper is from Mulberry Wood by Crafters Companion and I thought it was the perfect match for these cute fellas!

Butterfly!

This week at the Outlawz we have the most gorgeous colours that were chosen by Ursula and the twist is anything but square!

What a beautiful garden and what fabulous colours!

So you think Anything but Square, that's easy, it can be oblong, round oval simples! But...... I had this amazing digi from Anji's Antics I wanted to use as she is our sponsor this month and such a gifted artist! The image I wanted to use was a freebie on her blog (there's a freebie most days) and I fell in love with it, the butterfly baby. So I thought I'd like to make a butterfly card for my butterfly baby and set off in search of a template. I did find what I was looking for and me bad, I forget where I found it but it was free on someones blog and I'm sooooo sorry I can't give the designer her due!

Now isn't that just the cutest baby! I love the template, it was a bit fiddly to cut but well worth the effort. I added some yellow glitter around the edge of the yellow butterfly and some pretty green gems.

I hope you like my little baby and do check out Anji's - I love her blog she has some really great stuff on it! If you miss a freebie that you really want you can go to her shop and buy it, so I do hope you'll check her out and I really hope you will join us on the Color Challenge this week with these scrummy colours - I can't wait to see what you come up with so see you there!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Trick or Treat!

It's October and that means Halloween. Now in the UK we have Bonfire Night but Halloween is getting a big following now so I need to get some cards ready for the occasion!

Gerda Steiner has a wonderful freebie to use for her latest challenge and I think it will become a Halloween must have!

Now that has to be the cutest Halloween image ever! I coloured it up using Promarkers, the words have been treated with some gloss. I cut around the cat and added the moon behind it then just mounted onto a black card - so simple but so effective! I do hope you'll all join in this fun challenge at Gerda's - it really is a win win situation - you get the image free and if you win you get some more of her cute digis - what are you waiting for!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Party!!

Today at Penny's the new challenge is anything but square - that's nice and easy!
Our sponsors this week are the lovely Kathryne at Stamp Art Design and Kenny K.
I got to play with a Kenny K image and I love it!

I decided to make an oval easel card from gold mirri card. I cut the glasses out using an old Sizzix die then I coloured them and used some glossy accent to make them shine!
I coloured the cute image with Promarkers and cut her out. I added some turquoise shiny letters for the sentiment and thats it!

I actually made this for a friends birthday which is tomorrow - so I hope she likes it!

I hope we see all your non square projects over at Penny's Paper Crafty this week, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Autumn Leaves!

Are you ready for the big sweep? Yep it's that time of year when you spend every minute sweeping leaves of the path! I do love the colours of autumn but not the mess, lol!!

Tuesday means the Color Challenge at the Outlawz and this week it is my turn to host the challenge, here's my picture and twist
now aren't they just the colours of autumn!

This month we have a new sponsor and it is Anji's Antics. Anji draws some amazing images and is also very generous having freebies on her blog every day. She drew us some fab images to play with and this is one of them - perfect for autumn!

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used a pearlised red as my base card layered up with some orange card run through an embossing folder. The leaves are punched out using various autumnal colours and the sentiment is my own and mounted onto some cuts of raffia (straw).

I hope we will see you over at the Outlawz this week to join in this challenge, I'd love to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Autumn!

This week the Pink team are hosting the challenge at Eclectic Ellapu and the theme chosen by Elaine was:
Celebrate Autumn (Fall)

I don't know about you but I love Autumn, I love to go for walks when the leaves are falling and you get that great colour and crunch beneath your feet. Autumn to me is always the forerunner to Christmas and the celebrations to come.

For my card I have used a cute image from QKR Stampede

Isn't he just adorable, I coloured him with a mixture of Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Spectrum Noir markers. I've mounted him on a mix of mulberry papers and added a little raffia bundle and a leaf gem.

I hope you're all playing the treasure hunt each day and gathering those little treasures you can't win it if you're not in it! So much treasure to find, woohoo!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Friends!

Hello, the new challenge has started at Penny's Paper Crafty and this week is everyone's favourite
Anything Goes!

We have two great sponsors this week Penny Blossom Stamps and Bugaboo.

For my car I have used a Bugaboo image

Such a great image to send to a friend! I coloured the iamge using Promarkers and added some paper from Nit Wits for the base layer and some nice mulberry papers that I have torn for the matting, the image has been torn and matted. I used some letters that are a perfect match for the sentiment 'friends' down the right hand side and the lovely wooden flourish is one that came from the candy I won at Jacques Joie de Livre!
I also added a heart made from some pink bling!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join us at Penny's this week - see you there!

The Sun Has Got His Hat On!

Tuesday's here again and it's the Color Challenge at the Outlawz. Today's inspirational picture and twist was chosen by Roxann:
It's also a new month and new month means new sponsor and this month we have the wonderful Anji's Antics, she is such a clever artist!

Many years ago when my baby boy was at nursery they were learning that little song, The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray! He practised it and practised it (drove me mad!). It was pouring with rain and He was all dressed up in his sou'wester and wellies ready to go out with me, then I had to do something before we left and I looked round and there he was in the garden with a gold umbrella marching up and down singing at the top of his voice, the sun has got his hat on! I cherish that memory it was so sweet and when I saw this image it brought it straight back to me!

Isn't that just adorable! I coloured the image with Promarkers and teamed it up with some turquoise paper on a red base card. The flowers were coloured to match and the sentiment is computer generated!

Hope you'll come over and join us at the Outlawz for this lovely colour pallette, you have to see what the DT have come up with! See you there!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!!
