A quick post from me just to show you this gorgeous, gorgeous image!
It's another one from Lacy Sunshine and I had to have it when I saw it! I painted it using Twinkling H2o's and I tried to use colours that might be on a butterfly! Very simply mounted onto a Cheery Lyn doily cut from some silvered black tissue paper then mounted onto a zebra striped card.
You can find this image and lots more that are fantastic here.
Hope you like her and thanks for stopping by!

A Nice Little Bear!
The new challenge is up at Penny's Paper Crafty and this week's challenge is to use your favourite colour combo.
Now I don't know about you but my favourite colour combo really depends on what it's for - so when I saw this image the colours immediately came to mind!
Now this looks like a senior bear who would be comfortable with purple and green! The sweet papers are from Time for Tea by Nitwits. I used my Cricut to cut the heart - teddies always have the cute factor and need some love in there somewhere! I used some green spotted ribbon that matches the hat and some lace. The butterfly is a diecut and has been cut from some purple glitter paper. The flowers in the corers are some purple flower gems with a lime green pearl for the centre.
I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir markers for a change. I used these as the range of golden browns are much better than in the Promarkers. I love the little butterfly on her foot, so cute!
We have some wonderful sponsors again over at Penny's there's Sassy Design Studio, Stamp Art Design (my cute bear is from this lovely company!) and Digital Delights. So come and join in the fun and show us your gorgeous creations - I'll see you there!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Let it Shine, Let it Shine, Let it Shine!
I saw something in the sky the other day that looked remarkably like the sun.... if I remember what it looks like! Spring has to be lurking around here somewhere!!
Well it's Tuesday and that can only mean one thing - the Color Challenge at the Outlawz.
This week it was my choice of inspirational picture so I used this lovely picture I took at Matin Mere Wetlands Centre:
For my twist I would like to add shine!
For my card this week I used a lovely image from Saturated Canary
I layered the image onto some blue mirri card then some white embossed card and finally some red mirri card - plenty of shine I think! The base card is blue as well, I just added some blue ric rac braid and some red spotted ribbon.
I coloured my image with Promarkers then inked around the edge of the image with some red ink, as a finishing touch I gave her a nice red gem to hold her sash in!
I hope we will see you over at the Outlawz and I'd love to see what you create using my picture and twist!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Lacy Sunshine!
Hello and welcome! Tonight I have a special little treat for you. I discovered another digi artist and wow, does her work just blow me away - I haven't got words to say just how good they are!
This little one is Eleanor and Pickles who are a signature image set for Heather Valentin, the artist and I really, really enjoyed colouring this one!
The background papers are from Nitwits and I just inked the edges with some pink ink. The die cuts are from Memory Box and I've added some pink organza ribbon along with the satin yellow ribbon. Some bling from a mixed bag of kids craft gems from Tesco (I love them!) and some cute buttons.
This is a close up, aren't they just so cute? I love the colour combination of pink and yellow they just seem to work so well and I thought she's definitely a pink person, lol! Image has been coloured with Promarkers.
If you like this little cutie check out the Lacy Sunshine Shop There's a retiring digi page with these gorgeous digi's at just $1!!!

It's A Boy!
Well the second baby had arrived in our office. This one is very special though - he has Downs Syndrome and also a hole in the heart.
Ollie wasn't due until next weekend but turned up last Saturday, he weighed in at 6lb 4oz which is a very respectable weight for a baby they thought would be under weight!
Again I needed to make a card for all the office to be able to add their comments!
This is what I came up with:
The image is from Delicous Doodles and is coloured with Promarkers. All the papers are digital and from Nitwits, they come from more than one collection. The ribbon was created from some white satin ribbon with a narrow blue through the middle. The lacey die cut frame around the image is created with a Spellbinders die. All the text has been cut using my Cricut.
This is a close up of the lovelu image!
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your visit and hope to see you again soon!

It's Friday - the Weekend Starts Here!
Yay! Friday, don't you just love Friday - when you know you've got the weekend and you can do whatever you want!! (Sorry all the folks that have to work weekends)
The new Sentiment Challenge over at Lady Annes starts today and this month's sponsor is Stamp and Doodle and all the DT have made cards using their digi's.
For my card I used this cute image:
Aren't they just adorable and I did think this was the perfect image for an engagement card!
I coloured the image up using Promarkers and then cut it out using a scalloped rectangular die.
All the papers are from Nit Wits (who by the way are having a sale today and tomorrow!) I used some of my cute satin flowers from my favourite stall on Bury market, the sentiment is from a set of freebies that came with a magazine and the bling is from my stash!
I hope we see you over at the challenge, remember it's always anything goes as long as it has a sentiment! Can't wait to see what you create, see you there!
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time and hope to see you again soon!

All Together Now - AAAwwwww!
It's the new challenge over at Penny's and this week its - drum roll,,,,,,,,,,,,
Anything Goes!
For my card I have used an image from Craft Sentiment, who is one of our sponsors this week,
Now doesn't he just have the AAAwwww factor, just look at that cute little face!
I coloured the image using Promarkers and gave his fur that 'fur' effect using a blending pen and a cotton bud. I used papers from Nit Wits as I thought he needed lots of hearts! I punched the corners with a Martha Stewart corner punch and threaded my ribbon through the holes. I added some pink lace (coloured with Promarkers) along the ribbon and added some Spellbinder corners to the opposite corners. I had some cabouchon green gems (that came in a kids gem pack from Tesco!) that I thought were perfect.
I hope you will come over and join in the fun at Penny's this week, especially as it's everyones favourite theme!!
Hope to see you there - thanks for stopping by I really appreciate you taking the time and I hope to see you again soon!

Sun's Out - Must be Summer!
Tuesday again folks so that means it's the Color Challenge at the Outlawz, this week's inspirational picture was chosen by Ursula.
Now aren't they the colours of summer? I could only think of beaches and ice creams when I saw this picture and I had the perfect stamps by Emma Ball!
I stamped my little beach scene onto some card then cut it out and mounted it onto some pink paper, the shell stamps are from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. I added the border that I had in my stash and the copper charm. The greeting stamp has been in my drawer for ever and never seen the light of day but it was perfect for this one so I stamped it and embossed with some embossing powder that was just the right colour!

Babies...................
We had three babies due on our office, only tow now as the first has arrived! as the card maker in the company I thought I would make a card from the office for the parents of the new arrival and this is it:
I made an 8 x 8 card so that it would be big enough for a dozen or so comments and cut the base card from an A3 sheet of pink card. All the papers used are from Cute as a Button from Nit Wits. I used my Cricut to cut out the letters from some pink glitter card for her name and DOB. The bunting I made using scraps of paper and some silver twine, the sweet satin flowers I got from my favourite market stall on Bury Market!
The beautiful image is from Phindy's Place, a new digi artist to me but she has some beautiful digi's and I can see me building up quite a collection! I coloured it with Promarkers.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today, I do appreciate your time and hope you will call back soon!

Christmas Progressive Challenge #2
Hello everyone!
Today see's the start of the second Christmas Progressive challenge over at Lady Annes. I hope you all signed up for this one last month as I will be sending out the new images to all who entered a card (or two),
This month's challenge images are being porvided by Stamp and Doodle and I would really love you to tell everyone on your blogs where the images are from as they have generously given these images for us all to use (please check the TOU).
Please feel free to snatch the badge from here!
Well these are the lovely images we got to use, the first one is Fairy in Waiting and isn't she just!
I have to say she did remind me of my Granddaughter when she was little! I coloured her with Promarkers and added a little glitter to her outfit and found a nice sparkley star for her wand! The Dp is some Papermania paper that I have had forever that I edged with some pink striped ribbon. I cut the image out using a leaf die cut from X Cut and cut another of the same die from some sparkley pink paper. I inked the background to my image using an alcohol marker, blending marker and a cotton bud - you can get some very good effects! The sentiment is from an old Do Craft set that I heat embossed with some crimson and inked the edges with some pink ink.
The second image is very different and real fun, Christmas Choir:
Again, I coloured the image with Promarkers and created the blue background using an alcohol marker, I then inked with a crimson ink over the edges. The background was created from two, Papermania papers from a vintage pad, some music paper printed from Raspberry Road and some gold embossed vellum. I added some red ribbon and some metallic holly leaves.
The DT have created some wonderful cards with these images so do hop over to Lady Annes and check them out - we also have a new member to our team, Athina, please join me in welcoming her to the team, her work is gorgeous!
I look forward to seeing you all over at the Christmas Challenge over at Lady Annes - come and join in the fun!

Do You Love Someone..................
Well Valentines Day is nearly on us and all the world loves a lover!
My darling bought me 30 red roses last night - how sweet is that!!
Tuesday means the Color Challenge over at the Outlawz. Today's inspirational picture was chosen by Guylou and what fabulous colours!
I have used an image from our sponsor, Doodle Dragon - it's called Scaredy Cat; I wonder why?
When I received this image I really had to think what to do with it and I did think he looked like he was flat against a window. Firstly, I coloured the image with Promarkers I then made a box frame and line the bottom with some heart paper (from the SWALK CD by Crafters Companion). I stuck my cat onto some acetate and mounted it onto the box, finishing the frame with some brown satin ribbon. It is mounted onto an 8" x 8" base card that has a different heart paper from a Crafters Companion CD. The sentiment is mine and I finished it off with some punched hearts!
I do hope you find time to come over to the Outlawz and join in our fun challenge - there's lots of prizes up for grabs and a great bunch of crafters to get to know, so what are you waiting for!
I hope you like my fun card - I really appreciate you taking the time to visit and I hope you'll come back soon!
