Camellia

Good evening everyone, well our weather has changed for the better today - we even saw some sunshine!

On to today's post, I have joined the CDAC group and am joining in the progressive freebie challenges, this is for challenge 16 (that finishes tonight) and I have to say I was spoilt for choice!

I decided that as I only had time to do one card for this challenge I would use this beautiful camellia by the Wax Fruit Company. I coloured it with Promarkers then selectively glittered small areas to give it some impact. I do think its gorgeous and I will be using it again (and again and again!) Fabulous image for a CAS card.....

I layered it up with a combination of gold and maroon and finished off with a Memory Box die cut.

This may give you some idea of how good the glitter looks!

Groovy Chic!

Just a quick post - I made this card tonight instead of tomorrow night, the image is by Whoopsie Daisy, isn't she gorgeous! Really took me back to the 60's! I coloured her with Promarkers and teamed her with some gorgeous papers from Trimcraft, some lovely ribbon, flowers and letters from my stash.

I'm going to enter her into the Creative Card Crew  where the challenge is Ribbons and Joanna Sheen Challenge where the challenge is Flower Power.

Hello!

Well I don't know what your weathers like but we've got lashing rain and high winds, not at all nice, thankfully I don't have to go anywhere so can stay inside and listen to the wind howling down the chimney!
I was so excited as I won Mo's Challenge last week and got a voucher for Mo's shop - not that I was in a hurry but I spent it before it got a chance to get comfortable, LOL! I got the Ragged Romeo digi which I think is soooo sweet!

I coloured them with Promarkers and some Spectrum Noir pens, the background paper is from Raspberry Road, the gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is from a stamp that I found in one of my folders (don't know where it's from) heat embossed with some Raspberry embossing powder.

They are so gorgeous to colour, I've already printed it out to colour again!!
I will enter it into Mo's Challenge again this week which is for your favourite colour combination - well I love pink and blue together so that was my choice for this gorgeous image!
Hope you have a happy Sunday and the weather is a bit more pleasant wherever you are!

Uptown Girl!

This is a beautiful image by Anne Fenton for the CFC challenge over at the Outlawz. I really wanted to make her special so she became a bit of a Deb!

She's coloured with Promarkers, the vine die is from Memory Box, some flowers that I picked up in a craft store today and coloured red to match, computer generated image and the rest if from my stash!

Dragonfly

Good Morning everyone, a quick post this morning before I go out  - got a day off as I have some things to do but I have the luxury of not being out the door by 8am!
I made this card for the Outlawz CFC challenge, when you join the challenge you are given two digis to create something with and what wonderful digis they are! The artists are Sandi Huggett and Anne Fenton and both ladies create some wonderful art for us.
The challenge digis this time are a beautiful dragonfly and a prom girl - both are fabulous.

This is what I came up with for the dragonfly, I stamped and heat embossed the background with some dragonfly stamps I have from The Stamp Man, some pretty lace and a nice ribbon from my stash. The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and is coloured to match the flowers on the wings aprt from that a bit of  bling for added sparkle.

Bunches

Good Evening everyone, I'd like to share a card today that I have made for a dear friend who has had to have her leg removed today after numerous operations and procedures - my heart goes out to her and I thought this little lady would cheer her up, especially as you can't take real flowers into hospital any more!

I am going to enter this into Mo's Digital Challenge as this week it's flowers - I don't think I could get any more on a card if I tried!!

The background paper is a Nit Wits Collection, some lace, ribbon and pearls from my stash and a stamped and heat embossed greeting. Coloured with Promarkers ( I just invested in some fine tips and wow how good are they!!).

Thanks for looking!

Fairy.........

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day!

My card today is from a stamp I bought from a little company called the Green Man Stamp Company. I bought it about four years ago and shame on me I've never used it - until now!

I love fairies! I always have and when I first saw this one I fell in love...I coloured her with Promarkers and of course, had to glitter her wings. The gorgeous background paper is by Raspberry Road from the Celestial Bliss collection, The gold organza ribbon is from Mei Flower and the gems are from my stash. The embellishment is from a stamp I have in a set from the Stamp Man. I am entering this into the Craft Cardmakers challenge. As you can see the photography's not much better, roll on summer and I can take them outside and photograph!

Tuesday's Color Challenge!

Well it's Tuesday's Color Challenge over at the Outlawz again - where does the time go!

This weeks inspirational picture was chosen by Teresa.

And don't forget our wonderful sponsor for April
Nana Vic's Digitals

What wonderful colors Teresa chose and a great twist, I really had to think and search my stash to come up with my card for this challenge!

I used a stamp that I have had for several years which was given to me by a very dear friend. It lends itself to lots of colour schemes and I have used it many times over the years. The crichet lace surrounding the image is some very old lace that my Mother took off something years ago and has been lurking in the shadows for about thirty years..... Well a piece of it has finally found a use!
She has been coloured with Promarkers and mounted on some peach coloured pearlised card, the corners are from Spellbinders and are also dut from peach pearlised card. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you back soon!

29 Again!

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday! It's quite cold here so the ideal place is in the craft room, nice and snug.
I posted this on the Outlawz Copic/Promarker challenge just for fun as it fits their theme so well. I found the image through Stitchy Bear and thought it was so cute, coloured with Promarkers. The background papers are from Raspeberry Road- they matched so well, I love their papers!

I added a sentiment, some ribbon, pearls and some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Enjoy the rest of your day!

My Other Craft!

Hello Everyone! It's Friday - the start of the weekend, YAY!!

Well I haven't got a card to share with you today so I thought I'd show you some of my beads...

These are some of the bracelets I
make, as usual my photography leaves a lot to be desired but I'm sure you get the basix idea, I made dozens of them at Christmas; everyone wanted them as stocking fillers. I present them in cute little gift boxes that young girls seem to love - in fact I don't know if they like the bracelet or the box better!
I make them in lots of colours that suit girls of all ages (even Mums!).
If anyone is interested in them please contact me with your email and I will email you details of colours and charms that I can make.

I have just been told that there's a new craft shop opened in town, so I will ahve to go and check it out this weekend; which usually involves spending lots of money!!

Well I hope everyone has a happy and peaceful weekend and if I manage to get a card made I'll be back soon to share my latest creation!

Our sponsor for April is the fabulous Nana Vic's Digitals and this month's winner will get

My card for this week challenge uses an image by Delicious Doodles coloured with Promarkers, doesn't it look like summer with those hot colours? The flowers are foundation flowers coloured to match (Wild Orchid Crafts) ribbon by Fantastic Ribbons and the lovely background paper is by Trimcraft.

I really have to work on my photography skills!

I am trying to get this blog thing under control!! So this is my first post.....

My boss asked me to make a card for his mother, she doesn't like cute kids, animals or any of the normal things that you could put on a card for an older lady - so flowers it was! As it's April it had to be tulips and I found this lovely digi I coloured it with Promarkers, I layered it up on some beautiful paper that Jak Heath gave away on her blog, edged with lace added a sentiment and this is the result.
