My grand daughter will turn 14 on Thursday so I made her a card using the uber lovely digi from All Dressed Up " Love to Dance" as she really does love to dance and does both tap dance and ballet!
I coloured the image with Promarkers the cut her out using a heart die in a double cut, fiddly but worth the end result! I matted onto some cerise mirror card, the same card I used to cut the name and sentiment, I used a cerise glitter card for the age. The paper was a free paper from Create and Craft that came through in an email just in time! I also matted that onto cerise mirror card. I added a cerise satin ribbon and bow that I double tied with some pink organza ribbon. The pearl trim I found in a craft shop in Whitby last summer and I so wish I had bought more as I am at the end of the supply and I have not seen it anywhere else!
The inside has been finished with matching papers and a heat embossed sentiment.
I will enter this into the next challenge at All Dressed Up and the All Dressed Up FB challenge!
Oh my this is stunning Laurian! Olivia will totally love this! That's so creative with the double heart around the image and added the embellishments around it. Looks like a ballerina's dress without the tutu. The bow and soft pattern paper finished the card off beautifully. Simply stunning. Happy birthday to Olivia. - Hugs, Christina

Gorgeous card Laurian, your granddaughter will be thrilled with it! I love how you've cut the image out using the heart twice, does look very effect. Would love to see how you did that, any chance of a tutorial?
