Boo!

The new challenge at Eclectic Ellapu was chosen by May from the Pink Team and this week what else could it be:

Halloween!
For my cards I used some Pollycraft images. Sadly Pollycraft are closing down on 23 October and they have some super bargains over there, well worth checking out. I coloured up two images with a view to using them on one card, duh! Helps if you print them small enough!!!

They are just the cutest Halloween images I've seen for ages!

I coloured them up using Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I cut the white smash background by hand then added some letters cut using the Cricut - all mounted on a black card.

Aren't they cute?

I hope we'll see all your Halloween projects this week so come on over and join in the fun!

Hope you're getting the treasure too!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

A Very Happy Birthday to a Lovely Lady!

I made this card for a very special lady for her birthday. The image is from Lexies and is absolutely gorgeous!

Isn't she lovely? I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and cut her out with a Spellbinders label die on one side. The background paper is from my stash and is some gorgeous vintage paper that I bought years ago, I added some pink pearlised paper to the right and layered the lace over it, the lace was from a shop in Cheltenham that I bought while on my travels! I used a Martha Stewart punch on the corners that I trimmed down and added pearls. The sentiment is my own.

I thought it came out well so I wanted to share it with you, hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

There Be Dragons!

The challenge at Penny's this week is everyones favourite - Anything Goes!
We have some fabulous sponsors this week, we have:

How good is that!

For my card I have used some images from Stampin with the Dragon

I used two of the cute bauble decs that I coloured with Promarkers then glossed with some 3D gloss, shame it doesn't show! I used some Christmas gem brads to attach them to the card. The background paper is from Mulberry Wood by Crafters Companion and I thought it was the perfect match for these cute fellas!

I hope you'll join us at Penny's Paper Crafty this week to show us your beautiful creations!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Butterfly!

This week at the Outlawz we have the most gorgeous colours that were chosen by Ursula and the twist is anything but square!

What a beautiful garden and what fabulous colours!

So you think Anything but Square, that's easy, it can be oblong, round oval simples! But...... I had this amazing digi from Anji's Antics I wanted to use as she is our sponsor this month and such a gifted artist! The image I wanted to use was a freebie on her blog (there's a freebie most days) and I fell in love with it, the butterfly baby. So I thought I'd like to make a butterfly card for my butterfly baby and set off in search of a template. I did find what I was looking for and me bad, I forget where I found it but it was free on someones blog and I'm sooooo sorry I can't give the designer her due!

Now isn't that just the cutest baby! I love the template, it was a bit fiddly to cut but well worth the effort. I added some yellow glitter around the edge of the yellow butterfly and some pretty green gems.

I hope you like my little baby and do check out Anji's - I love her blog she has some really great stuff on it! If you miss a freebie that you really want you can go to her shop and buy it, so I do hope you'll check her out and I really hope you will join us on the Color Challenge this week with these scrummy colours - I can't wait to see what you come up with so see you there!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Trick or Treat!

It's October and that means Halloween. Now in the UK we have Bonfire Night but Halloween is getting a big following now so I need to get some cards ready for the occasion!

Gerda Steiner has a wonderful freebie to use for her latest challenge and I think it will become a Halloween must have!

Now that has to be the cutest Halloween image ever! I coloured it up using Promarkers, the words have been treated with some gloss. I cut around the cat and added the moon behind it then just mounted onto a black card - so simple but so effective! I do hope you'll all join in this fun challenge at Gerda's - it really is a win win situation - you get the image free and if you win you get some more of her cute digis - what are you waiting for!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Party!!

Today at Penny's the new challenge is anything but square - that's nice and easy!
Our sponsors this week are the lovely Kathryne at Stamp Art Design and Kenny K.
I got to play with a Kenny K image and I love it!

I decided to make an oval easel card from gold mirri card. I cut the glasses out using an old Sizzix die then I coloured them and used some glossy accent to make them shine!
I coloured the cute image with Promarkers and cut her out. I added some turquoise shiny letters for the sentiment and thats it!

I actually made this for a friends birthday which is tomorrow - so I hope she likes it!

I hope we see all your non square projects over at Penny's Paper Crafty this week, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Autumn Leaves!

Are you ready for the big sweep? Yep it's that time of year when you spend every minute sweeping leaves of the path! I do love the colours of autumn but not the mess, lol!!

Tuesday means the Color Challenge at the Outlawz and this week it is my turn to host the challenge, here's my picture and twist
now aren't they just the colours of autumn!

This month we have a new sponsor and it is Anji's Antics. Anji draws some amazing images and is also very generous having freebies on her blog every day. She drew us some fab images to play with and this is one of them - perfect for autumn!

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used a pearlised red as my base card layered up with some orange card run through an embossing folder. The leaves are punched out using various autumnal colours and the sentiment is my own and mounted onto some cuts of raffia (straw).

I hope we will see you over at the Outlawz this week to join in this challenge, I'd love to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
