Stripes!
This week's Colour Challenge was chosen by Ursula and she picked this amazing inspirational picture
For this week's challenge we would like you to pick three colours from the five shown and make a card, adding the twist of 'Add Stripes'.
For my project I have used an image from our lovely sponsor Bugaboo
I love this beautiful image and I tried my hand at digital colouring and I think it came out quite well! The stripey paper is from my stash and I cut the rainbow stripes from some card I found in my stash!
I hope you will join us this week for this great challenge!

Another Christmas Card Done!
Yes I've finished this month's DS4J progressive Christmas card! This month has the cutest Santa drawn by the very clever JenLee
I coloured her with Promarkers and Copics, gave her some sparkle with some Cosmic Shimmer glitter. Isn't she just the cutest Santa! The sentiment is a stamp I have had forever that I inked and stamped the embossed with clear embossing powder, the papers are from my stash (can't remember whose they are!).
Thanks for stopping by and why not join in the DS4J Progressive Challenge yourself!

Pumpkin Boy!
This month's challenge at Gerda Steiner's features the super cute pumpkin boy! I found some super cute Halloween paper in one of my digi files, and used some purple star paper that I have had forever.
For a fun challenge where everyone's a winner why not join in at Gerda's, as long as you post the image each month you will keep getting another cutie to play with!

I coloured the image with Promarkers. All the papers and buttons are from Docraft.
Please come over and join us at Penny's this week - we'd love to see you!

Sunflower Sprite
On the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog you will find this gorgeous sprite as a freebie!
I coloured it up with a mix of Promarkers and Copics and decided to make a shaped easel card to put my sprite on, I think it's really sweet!
Now I'm going to pop over and enter it into the Aurora Wings Challenge to use a Sprite!
Thanks for stopping by!

What Book Inspired You?
That is what we'd like to know this month at Dragonfly Dreams - we'd like you to tell us what book inspired you as a child or even a book you read to a child!
Our wonderful sponsor Stichy Bear Digi Outlet gave us some beautiful digis to work with. I chose Mad Hatter from BB Kakes. As a child I loved Alice in Wonderland I read and reread that book until I could recite it, I think that's where I got my love of fantasy from. When I saw this image I knew what I wanted to do and it turned out reasonably how I imagined!
I coloured her with my usual mix of alcohol markers then cut her out using an oval cutter. The base card is red pearl, I found a free image site to get a pack of playing cards then printed out the pack and cut them all out, the Queen of Hearts I printed larger as she is quite symbolic in this story, courtesy of spray glue I then arranged my cards around Alice.
I hope you will all come over to Dragonfly Dreams and join us in this fun challenge - I hope to see you there!
