It's challenge time over at Eclectic Ellapu and this weeks challenge from the Pink team was set by Dawn, and it is:
Black & White and read all over!
Dawn would like you to make a project using only black and white and using text.
This is what I came up with:
I used a selection of papers from Raspberry Road along with a fab clip art of a keyboard. I wanted to make a card that was reflective. I used some rub on words for the main and some marquasite letters for the main word across the centre.
Something very different for me and I hope you like it!
Please call over to Eclectic Ellapu and see the amazing projects that the other DT have made - hard to believe you can make such wonderful projects just using black and white and some text!
I do hope you will come over and join our challenge this week it would be great to see you there!
Thanks for stopping by I really appreciate it, see you again soon!
This is great, Laurian. That is certainly a 'challenging' challenge theme!!! Not sure what I would come up with, but you have 'risen to the challenge' brilliantly!!!! (don't you just love the word 'challenge'?)lol.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, Laurian, welcome to our Penny's DT. Look forward to seeing your future 'challenge' creations (ha ha, got that word in one more time).
Hugs,
Jennifer. x
Laurian this is a wonderful take on the challenge theme.

Laurian, I love the collage affect on this project. Very nice. Black & white only is a little out of my comfort zone too but I think I'm going to give it a try. Great job sweetie!
ReplyDeleteOooo, love the collage, Laurian! Great choice to use rub ons for the sentiments. I think I have some of those somewhere in my stash. You've inspired me to dig them out. :-D
ReplyDeleteLaurian, this is beautiful. I've been trying to do a Mod Podge collage (won't talk about that). I guess I need lessons from you! Very nice work!
ReplyDeleteHugz,
Chana
Chana, I hope your collage turns out! I generally cut up the papers I want to use and throw them down and see what they look like then tweak them from there, lol - very scientific!
DeleteYou make some amazing projects Chana so I'm sure a bit of collage won't beat you!
xx
This looks great Laurian - love the eclectic mix of papers and the scattering of words. Just perfect for the challenge :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful card you made, great use of paper and words! =)
