Christmas in July!

I can't believe it's Tuesday again! Gosh this week has flown. DH is going to take me away for my 60th birthday so we have spent lots of time (my craft time!) searching for somewhere to stay in Cornwall at the end of August! We finally found a very nice looking place in St Austell and as I want to visit the Eden Project on my birthday; its an ideal location,,,,,,, so I can start to get excited now!!

It's the Color Challenge over at The Outlawz and this week it is Christmas in July! Teresa picked the fabulous colours and the twist this week and how gorgeous are they, especially for Christmas!

These were the colours Teresa had for her re-wedding when she and her husband renewed their vows after 25 years!

For my card I chose a Mo Manning image, I love this image. There are three or four like this and I think they are so adorable!

I layered the beautiful paper from Jak Heath onto some silver crackle card (shame the silver looks black), the base card is White Centura Pearl and the ribbon is one I found in a bargain bin in the craft shop, the greeting is made from some turquoise mirri board letters (that also look black!!). I inked the edge of the die cut that the image is on and added a small silver star charm to her ornament string,

I coloured the image with Promarkers and used Flowersoft in Polar White for the fur trim on her hat. I made a mask for the image and sprayed the ornament with spray glue them covered with silver glitter for a real Christmassy look. I do so love making Christmas cards and usually make far too many each year! I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
