For the progressive challenge at Gerda Steiner this month we got two digis as Gerda will be away for two months so we get to play extra!
This is the first of the two
I thought this was just too cute! I love watermelon - it just says everything about summer to me and this little man looks as though he is really enjoying it too!
I coloured him with Promarkers and used a new Spellbinders die to cut it out then inked around the edge. The papers are from a digital collection from Kmess, the flowers and leaves were cut using some Tattered Lace dies and the sentiment was stamped with some peg stamps.
You need to join in at Gerda Steiners to get these cute stamps each month - so what are you waiting for!

What's Your Occasion?
We'd love for you to share your occasion with us at Dragonfly Dreams!
This month our sponsor is Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps
I got the lovely Mermaid Couple to play with
I coloured the image with Promarkers and used some gorgeous pearl flowers to frame them, The background paper is a digital paper from the Seascape collection by Michele R, I added some sea shells that are paper but shaped to give them a 3d effect. The sentiment is hand written and heat embossed.
We would love to see your special occasions (mine is for an engagement), so come on over to Dragonfly Dreams and join us!

The Outlawz Progressive Challenge for June
we have a new challenge this month and our sponsor for the month is Annes Digital Art.
This is the lovely image we have to give our members this month
I coloured it with Promarkers then inked around the edges, layered onto some brown glitter card. I used a hessian background paper and bordered with a brown gingham, all layered onto a dark red base card. The sentiment was die cut from brown glitter card and I accented with a brown star.
A definite 'go to' image!, if you're not a member why not join us, we have a different artist's image each month and we hope it will open up some new digi artists to you. so come on over and join us!

I have been copying over from my old PC and things haven't gone as simply as you would like, lol!) she has been coloured with Promarkers and is teamed up with some papers from the Mickey Mouse collection and some cute polka dot burgundy ribbons. The flowers are from a pound shop, butterflies are cut from a Joanna Sheen die, I used various other dies to finish.

An Anniversary Card
It's like taking a cork out of a bottle, I am trying to catch up on some of the posts I wanted to make!
This is a card I made for a friend who's sister was about to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary, in fact it's tomorrow.
I made an 8 x 8 card base and used the Songbirds die collection from Tonic. I cut them out of some matte gold and layered onto some navy iridescent vellum. The numbers were cut from another Tonic set that came with the drawers I bought for an advent calendar and the names are cut from some engine turned effect paper on the Silhouette, I edged the card with some thin strips of gold.
this is the inside
She was thrilled with it and has flown off to Ireland today for the big celebration tomorrow - I hope the happy couple like it too!
Thanks for stopping by - see you again soon!

It is a pocket tag where you can add a gift card or even some money to the pocket. The papers are from the Sweet Paris collection, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, the little spool is from the Works and I have added some dark cerise twine, The beautiful bead was a gift from a lovely lady and it was just so perfect for this tag!
OK that's it for now, please come on over to the Outlawz and join in the fun!
