A Cute Bear and a Rocking Santa!

I have a couple of cards for you today, both are featuring Gerda Steiner images, the first one is the image for Gerda's Progressive challenge and it is this sweet bear

The image was coloured with Promarkers and I used some green glitter card to die cut the star, then it has been layered onto some Night Before Christmas papers from Docrafts, the sentiment is a die cut from Crafters Companion.

The second card was a gift from Gerda

Image coloured with Promarkers, the background paper is another from Docraft and the trees were die cut in green glitter card, sentiment is a Spellbinders alphabet die.

Why not join in Gerda's progressive and sign up for her newsletter and you too will get some lovely freebies like this one!

Punches to the Ready!

The new Colour challenge at the Outlawz was chosen by the very talented Heather and Heather wants you to get your punches our!
I have a drawer full of punches that very rarely see the light of day so this challenge made me put the dies away and go back to basics!
Here's the challenge

Our sponsor this month is Sweet Pea Stamps and this is a beautiful image from Conie Fong

I thought this was such a cute image! I coloured it with Promarkers and cut out to the size of the image I then found my heart punches and kept punching until I had enough to frame the image and some larger ones for the corners. I thought he looked really cute!!

I hope you will come over and join us this week, so dust off those punches and lets get busy!

He is just such a fun image! I coloured him with Promarkers and then fussy cut out, The background paper is from Craft Asylum - I have used this pad to death for all my autumn projects I love it!

I cut out some leaves using some Tattered Lace dies in different autumnal colours and the sentiment is hand written.

See you there!!

Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge

We have a new challenge started for November and this month our image is from SLS Lines

This months image is something completely different and was a real challenge for me! It is always good to try new things and as I really do like to think Outside the Box, this is what I came up with

Meet the Voodoo King I coloured him with Promarkers and used the Promarker neons for the jacket and feathers, the background paper is from Raspberry Road as is the skull element that I have used in different sizes, the sentiment was produced in Word using some spooky fonts!

I hope you like my version of this image and will give those difficult challenges a go! If you would like to join this challenge please go to the Outlawz and become a member, you then need to go to the challenge page and follow the instructions on how to get the digi!

We would love to see you there!

Eclectic Ellapu - Banners, Balloons or Bows

Good Morning! A little late with my post as my scheduling has gone to pot!

The new challenge for the Pink team at Eclectic Ellapu has started and we would like to see your projects featuring banners, balloons or bows.

For my project I used a cute image from Sassy Cheryl that is the ultimate Party Girl!

I used some paper from Craft Asylum for my background, the balloons were cut using a free die that came with one of the craft magazines and I used some wired treads for the strings. The words were cut from the same pink glitter card as the balloons using an only words die from Crafters Companion (it is actually Happy New Year but I just used the Happy word!).The touch of sparkle on the image is from a Trimcraft glitter glue, they have glitter and pearls in their new range and they are fab!

So come on over and show us your banners, balloons or bows we are all waiting to see them!
