The Easter Bunny!

This is the cute, cute image for this months progressive challenge at Gerda Steiner, I so love that he has glasses!

I coloured him using my new Chameleon pens, I definitely need some practice with those!

The papers are all from Nit Wits Bonnets and Bowties, the elements are from the same set! I added some washi tape and buttons and some pale green roses from WOC.

Outlawz Progressive Challenge for February!

I can't believe this is the third progressive challenge at the Outlawz!

If you have been playing along since the beginning you will have seen the huge amount of people who have joined us and we are so happy to have so many members joining us each month!

This month our sponsor is Sandi's Samples and not only has she given us this wonderful digi she has also give us a prize of three digis from her store!

I coloured the image with Promarkers then cut it out with a heart shaped die and stipple inked around the edges, it is layered onto some dark green silk covered card - it is actually quite luxurious in real life! The background paper is from my stash and about 10 years old, lol. I added some glittery butterflies cut with a die from Joanna Sheen, a die cut Thank You and some purple roses.
If you've not seen the challenge before pop over to the Outlawz (click the tab at the top of the page) and join us!

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Love is in the Air!

Well it is our theme for the new challenge starting at Dragonfly Dreams! We would love to see all your gorgeous Valentines or any project that shows your love!

We have a fabulous sponsor this month - Sweet Pea Stamps!

I got to play with one of their beautiful image - I was just spoilt for choice but after about 20 ums and ahs this is what I chose

The digi is by Conie Fong and you can find it here. I coloured it using my Promarkers and Copics then used some digi papers from Debbi Moore that came free with a magazine,  I thought those little hearts formed from roses were delightful, I layered it up with some pink glitter card. I added some lace and fabric butterflies and some bling on a string hearts to the bottom. The sentiment is printed then cut out with a heart die and added to a chipboard heart and the whole thing was glazed with some pink pearl glaze.

So come on over and show your love - we can't wait to see it!

Well Christmas is Over!

It's official, Eclectic Ellapu is back from their Christmas break with another set of challenges for you!

I am on the pink team and we have a challenge to use Burgundy and Cream! Sounds simple!!!

About 18 attempts later - this is what I came up with

I got some new Tonic dies so used them to make the centrepiece, added some pearls to add some more depth. The background paper is a lovely creamy, lacy burlap print from a digi paper I saw in another blog post and went in search of on Etsy, it doesn't show up too well but it is a fantastic set of digi papers with burlaps and denims. I finally edged the whole thing with some gold ric rac.

So come on over and join us the challenge from the Purple Team is Hearts and Roses so you've got double opportunities to show us your gorgeous creations!
